Homemade guitar, based on Defil parts.

Another guitar from Lordbizarre's guitar museum. The instrument is built arround Defil pu's and (old-) Defil tuners on a Defil neck. All the rest is home made, even the vibrato!

Body is very light (poplar) with an orange pickguard. The vibrato is home designed & made (sort off Jolana knock-off) 'cause its from the same material as the neckplate: vibrato adjusting cover; bridge support and bridge itself. Afterworths nicely pollisched almost like brand new surface!!! The Vibrato doesn't work smoothly because the tension spring is not strong enough as on the brand vibratos.

The tuners used are from the early Defils (60's), as well as the neck (probably from some early Jazz-style cheapy). The thick heel has been cut-off so the heel isn't that big as the usual necks (see Lordbizarre's Article on Defils).

And after all it plays very smoothly as far as I can tell about that. And, not talking about taste, admit this is a very nice design ...! Don't know who designed & made it but hopefully one day the designer/builder will contact me and state that it is his guitar...
